Panatta focuses on sustainability

With the installation of a photovoltaic system on the roof of its production facility, fitness equipment manufacturer Panatta has taken another important step towards sustainability.

With an annual consumption of 1,160,000 kw/h, the photovoltaic system can generate 510,000 kw/h for the company's own consumption, which corresponds to 44% of the company's total annual requirements.

At the same time, all lighting fixtures were converted to LEDs. This reduces consumption from 279,000 kw/h to 126,000 kw/h, or almost 55%.

These measures will allow the company to save up to 318 tons of CO2 annually.

"The installation of the system allows our company to become increasingly energy independent through the use of renewable energy."

Angela Tosti Panatta, President of Panatta srl

Panatta's production is carried out in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, and the environmental impact of its production processes is reduced to a minimum through the use of recyclable materials. The company's goal is to offer its customers machines with excellent biomechanics, which at the same time have been produced in a sustainable manner.
