SKILLCOURT, a leading provider of visual, cognitive and motor testing and training methods in the performance and rehabilitation sector, has gained a top-class partner in Michael Ilgner: the industrial engineering graduate, former Olympian and renowned top manager is joining SKILLCOURT as a shareholder with his company One May GmbH.

Founded in October 2023, the One May group of companies translates sporting success factors into effective solutions for companies and organizations. As a consultant, keynote speaker and investor, Michael Ilgner also works scientifically at the interface of elite sport, business and social transformation. He is also active on various boards of trustees, advisory boards and supervisory boards and has already taught as a guest lecturer at WHU Düsseldorf and the German Sport University Cologne, among others.
Michael Ilgner brings decades of experience in sport and business to the company. After his career as a competitive athlete - including as an Olympic participant and spokesman for the German national water polo team - he researched the success factors of performance-oriented teams in his dissertation at the University of Karlsruhe. Professionally, he has played a key role in shaping transformation processes at the highest level, including as Chairman of the Board of the German Sports Aid Foundation and as Chief Representative and Head of Human Resources on the Management Board of Deutsche Bank. He has received several awards for his achievements, including the Bavarian Minister President's Sports Prize, the State of Hesse's Medal of Values and induction into the Sponsorship Hall of Fame.
Michael Ilgner is looking forward to the commitment: "What appeals to me about SKILLCOURT is the very special combination of top-class sport, therapy and technology. The platform is not only scientifically sound. It has the potential to make people more efficient in the long term. As someone who has a background in competitive sport and has been responsible for transformation processes in companies and organizations, I am delighted to contribute my experience to the next phase of growth."
Christian Hasler, CEO of SKILLCOURT, adds: "With Michael Ilgner, we are gaining a rare combination of sporting excellence and strategic foresight. His experience in building high-performance teams - from Olympic squads to DAX companies - is a real added value for our further development."
With the arrival of Michael Ilgner, SKILLCOURT is sending a strong signal for the further expansion of its market leadership and strategic development in the field of tension between sport, therapy and digital innovation.
