What can I offer on fitnessmarkt.com?

New and used gym, therapy, wellness and beauty equipment as well as all kinds of accessories and small devices for fitness,  health and wellness can be sold on fitnessmarkt.com. Furthermore, you have the possibility to offer complete gyms, therapy practices or wellness centers for takeover or sale. It is prohibited to create ads for services or products that are not related to gyms, therapy practices, wellness centers or any kind of sports activity.

 

How can I create an ad?

To publish an ad or want ad, it is necessary to sign up for an account on fitnessmarkt.com. Creating an account is free of charge, non-binding and will not result in any obligations for you. Whether sign up before publishing an ad or after going through the few easy steps for creating an ad on fitnessmarkt.com is entirely up to you!

 

What will my ad cost me?

Registration on fitnessmarkt.com is free of charge. For the publication of an individual advertisement a one-time fee of 24.95 EUR plus VAT is due. When booking an advertisement package (10 advertisements), the individual price of an advertisement is reduced. In addition, a commission is charged for each purchase contract arranged by fitnessmarkt.com. All information on bookable services on fitnessmarkt.com can also be found in the pricing summary. For further information on commission, please refer to our terms and conditions.

 

How long will my ad be posted and how can I renew it?

A Single Ad will be posted for 8 weeks. You will automatically receive a small reminder email one week prior to your ad’s expiration date. In this e-mail you will find a link to the “My Marketplace” section where you can easily renew your posting for another 8 weeks. You can renew your ads as often as you like free of charge, until you have sold your gym, therapy or wellness and beauty equipment. With every renewal you can also edit your ad or choose additional features for a quicker sale.

 

What happens to my ad, if I don’t renew it on time?

If an ad is not renewed on time, it is deactivated automatically and will no longer be listed on fitnessmarkt.com. In “My Marketplace / Expired Ads” all previous published ads can be found and reposted by buying a Single Ad, Ads Package or using your quota from a previously booked package.


How can I increase my chances of a successful sale?

Top Ad:

To sell your gym, therapy or wellness and beauty equipment more quickly, you can book a Top Ad. Your ad will be found in the top spots within categories, highlighted by a bright orange frame and regularly listed on the front page. On average, Top Ads are clicked 10 times more often than Single Ads. A Top Ad can be booked for four weeks and costs 54.95 € plus VAT. This service is automatically renewed.

Bump Up:

Standard Ads are sorted in order of their publishing date which means that the most recent ads are being shown on the first page. As new ads are being posted daily, your listing will slowly move toward the end of the results. Since many users only take a look at the most recent ads, you can use the “Bump Up” feature. This way, your ad will again be listed on the first page - directly below the Top Ads - as if it had just been published. Bumping up an ad for 14,95 € plus VAT increases your chances of a successful sale!

Why do my adverts also get published on fitnessmarkt.de?

All adverts published on fitnessmarkt.com will automatically be visible on the German version of the website because there also is a large demand for new and used gym, therapy, beauty and wellness equipment.
If you have the possibility to translate your ad, you can freely switch between English and German ad using the language button. In case you don’t want your ad to be published on fitnessmarkt.de, please inform us.

 

What requirements do my pictures have to meet for upload?

A picture has to be a .jpg, .jpeg or .png file and may not be larger than 50 MB. We recommend choosing photos in which the articles can be seen clearly and in detail.

 

I have difficulties uploading pictures. What can I do?

Problems with uploading pictures are often related to out-of-date software. Make sure you are using the latest version of your internet browser and try deleting the cache. You can also try using a different browser. Of course you can publish your ad without pictures and add them later. If you still have problems uploading pictures, don’t hesitate to contact us. We are happy to help!

 

What means of payment can I use?

Direct Debit:
Comfortable and quick payment by providing your account information, IBAN and BIC codes

Credit card:
MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club, JCB
Comfortable payment by entering your credit card information.

Invoice:
Payable within 7 days from the invoice date. Please provide a valid billing address.

PayPal:
Fast, easy and safe payments with the online service PayPal. You will be redirected to the PayPal login page. Payments are confirmed through your PayPal account.
How and when will I receive an invoice?
If you choose to pay by invoice you will receive it via email to your designated email address within a few days.

Is there a way to save interesting ads and find them quicker when revisiting fitnessmarkt.com?

Directly in the ad of a seller there is a small star, which you can click on to remember the product. The advert will then be added to your list of favorites and the field will be shown in darker color to make clear that it is already on the list. The wishlist can be found on the right side of the upper menu bar in the form of a star. Please remember to keep logged in to permanently save your list of favorites when leaving the website.

 

What can I do, if a seller doesn’t answer my inquiry?

Please check that you have provided your correct contact information in your inquiry. We recommend to not only state your email address but also your name, city and telephone number. This way, you show serious interest as potential buyer and the seller has different possibilities to get in touch with you. In case you still don’t receive any answer to your inquiry we will try to get a hold of the seller and remind him of your inquiry. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We are happy to help!

 

How can I inform you about dubious adverts?

To report suspicious, dubious or fraudulent activity, use the "Report" button which can be found in the top bar above the advert. Clicking the button will open a contact form that allows you to file a report on suspected cases of fraud. Should you receive any untrustworthy offers or spam messages by fitnessmarkt.com sellers or users, please forward the message to service@fitnessmarkt.com. On fitnessmarkt.com you can find several exclusive transport and logistics companies. Our partners can offer you attractive shipment rates and support you with assembly & disassembly of equipment, safe packaging as well as service and maintenance for your machines. We would also be pleased to support you in your search for a suitable transport service provider. Is there a possibility to lease or finance gym equipment?

Regarding lease rates and financing options you would have to get in touch with each seller individually. If you are looking for a commercial retailer or manufacturer you can find a list of our partners here. If you are looking for an independent financing or leasing offer, you can refer to our list of finance service companies.

 

I can not find a suitable article. What can I do?

Creating a Want Ad on fitnessmarkt.com is for free and can be done quickly. Give a detailed description of what you are looking for – e.g. kind of equipment, brand or how much you are willing to pay. Your ad will be saved and displayed among the category “Want Ads” on fitnessmarkt.com. Suitable offers from fitnessmarkt.com sellers will come to you.

Or you can use our “We Are Searching For You” function, which offers you free and non-binding offers from many different traders and manufacturers. You don't have to worry about anything because we compare equipment and prices for you. You will then only receive offers that match your search query and can choose the best one for you.

 

What are the terms of payment between sellers and buyers?

Since fitnessmarkt.com is not directly involved in sales and purchases, the terms of payment will have to be negotiated with each seller individually. Payments can not be made through our website. If you need our advice in approaching a seller regarding the terms of purchase, feel free to contact us. We are here to support you.
