Welche Muskeln werden an der Beinpresse trainiert?

The Leg Press trains the so-called leg extension sling. This consists of the calf muscles for ankle extension (Musculus triceps surae), the muscles of the front thigh for knee extension, i.e. the quadriceps femoris and the gluteus maximus. Secondarily, the ischiocural muscles, i.e. the muscles of the rear thigh in the form of the leg biceps (Musculus biceps femoris) are trained. So almost the entire lower body is activated. The whole body benefits from this and can gain stability. All muscles that are trained with the leg press support the body in everyday movements such as walking, jumping, running and standing up. Strengthening the leg extension sling also contributes significantly to stabilizing the knees.
