KBL AG - The Westerwald-based lighting specialist is continuing its expansion course and will also be producing and distributing the most popular sunbeds from UWE Light GmbH in future. KBL is thus strengthening its Dernbach site and further expanding its market position.
KBL acquired assets from its Schwäbisch Gmünd-based competitor back in August 2015. With the expansion of the product portfolio, the need for new employees has also increased. Numerous new jobs are being created at the Dernbach headquarters. For example, the company is looking for determined and motivated employees in the areas of sales assistance, field sales and service, as well as trainees in the fields of technical product design, media design, electronics and industrial clerks.
At the same time, the team was also expanded. "With the new employees, we can continue to guarantee the important support for UWE Light GmbH Solarien and also ensure the smooth delivery of spare parts," says Klaus Lahr, Commercial Director of KBL AG. "However, we want to and must continue to expand our workforce. Over the next two years, we plan to increase our workforce by 10-15 employees."
In future, intelligent and innovative products such as the iBed and some other sunbeds from the previous manufacturer will be marketed under the umbrella of KBL AG. "The fact that our products will complement those of UWE Light GmbH perfectly after a streamlining is already demonstrated by the business of our American partner, PC Tan Inc. where the two brands have already been successfully offered for years," says the commercial director.
