3 Ratings

FIBO 2022 will take place in Cologne from 7 to 11 April. The focus is on technologies and products for a healthy life and business.

After a pandemic break of three years, numerous innovations and new concepts are on the market, which will be presented to fitness studio operators, trainers, physiotherapists, retailers, hoteliers, fitness fans and media from all over the world.

"We feel the spirit of optimism with regard to 2022. Together, we now need to set the course for growth and beyond the coming year. Health and fitness are more than ever in the focus of society and with FIBO we will send a clear signal." Silke Frank, FIBO Director

For a healthy society and a strong fitness industry

At FIBO, fitness studios will be supported as system-relevant health facilities, physiotherapists will be shown new business models and hotels will be given ideas for their fitness and health offerings. At the show, the "Meetingpoint Health & Wellness" in Hall 8 will be a main point of contact in matters of health.

TheraPro, for example, will be a partner in 2022. The trade fair will offer lectures. The DFAV, BVGSD and RehaVitalisPlus will offer information at FIBO on, among other things, training opportunities to become a prevention coach and rehab trainer as well as the physiotherapy bachelor's degree, on BGM and BGF measures or on training with the severely disabled.

Digital future trends

At FIBIO 2022, new technologies will play a major role both among exhibitors and in the supporting programme. Keywords include artificial intelligence, virtual reality, gamification, apps and trackers.

Integration of existing trends and new topics

In 2022, FIBO will additionally showcase the possibilities around cannabidiol. Together with "Behrentin Communication", the organiser of the "CBD Fair for Sport, Beauty, Wellness and Pharmaceutical Products", FIBO will bring the trend topic to the trade show in April.

The aim is to find out about application and marketing possibilities as well as the latest scientific findings, e.g. in the field of textiles and sportswear, for regeneration or performance enhancement. A separate area will be created for this in Hall 4.2. The target group is primarily trade visitors from the retail sector, fitness studios and trainers.

The "European Health & Fitness Forum" will also take place again on 6 April in the Congress Centre North at Koelnmesse.
