On the occasion of its 75th anniversary, ERGOFIT organized a big jubilee week at its home location in Pirmasens from June 7 to 10.

First, ERGOFIT welcomed its German and foreign sales partners to the anniversary event. In the course of the anniversary celebration, they received software training to enable them to provide optimum support to customers in the future.

On Thursday, representatives of the press and brand partners came to Rhineland-Palatinate. The crowning event took place on June 10. In bright sunshine, the employee team celebrated a big party in the marquee with the customers who had come to the event. The exciting supporting program, musical accompaniment and food truck catering contributed to the exuberant atmosphere.

Tradition meets innovation

Michael Resch, who led ERGOFIT until the beginning of the year, in the third generation, welcomed the invited guests at the Hotel Kunz in Pirmasens on Thursday, June 9. In his subsequent presentation, he went into the history of the company, which his grandfather Willi Resch founded shortly after the end of World War 2 in 1947. In the beginning, ERGOFIT manufactured machines for shoe production before gradually specializing as Medical Fitness.

In the ERGOFIT showroom, visitors can embark on a journey through time and examine some training equipment from older years.

During his talk, he also touched on some milestones in the company's history, such as the first bicycle ergometer with eddy current brakes in 1981. This technology became the gold standard that other suppliers adopted.

1990 then saw the birth of Medical Fitness. ERGOFIT launched the first cardio machines with heart rate-controlled training, before the first "chip card system" with digital training control followed five years later.

In 2012, the portfolio was then expanded to include strength equipment, followed by entry into cardiac rehabilitation in 2014, and in 2019, a product for athletic training was launched with the Ivo Trainer. The design-strong VECTOR series, which was presented for the first time in 2019, is also one of the company's most important products.
