TOGU training equipment is so versatile that it is not only used at home for everyday fitness training, but also for intensive preparation training, regeneration and rehabilitation of competitive athletes. The wide range of training and variation possibilities of the TOGU equipment is also used by physiotherapists of top athletes in their treatments. Among them is Michaela Kreitmair, MAS Physiotherapy, who coaches the German national biathlon team.

Balance and coordination training is on the one hand the basis for the physiological functionality of the musculoskeletal system and on the other hand an essential prerequisite for top athletic performance. TOGU equipment meets all requirements - from health training to competitive sports. With this versatility they have also convinced Michaela Kreitmair, sports physiotherapist of the German biathlon team: "I have been working for many years with the most different devices of the company TOGU - be it in competitive sports or in my daily work with the 'normal' patient. The equipment is very challenging, offers a lot of variety and makes training fun. Another important point is that they are all transportable and don't take up much space." According to Kreitmair, TOGU's equipment is particularly characterized by its variable air filling, which allows new and challenging training stimuli to be set again and again: "The fact that you can regulate the filling state of the equipment yourself makes it possible to use the TOGU equipment in the early phase of rehab and just as much to get in the mood for a competition day."
Training with TOGU equipment is also very well received by athletes. According to Michaela Kreitmair, even top athletes work up a good sweat while balancing on the equipment. "Training with the Jumper, the Balanza Ballstep or even the TOGU Challenge Disc is varied. Especially during my rehab at Medical Park Chiemsee, I was able to experience the versatility. No matter what level I am at as a competitive athlete - rehab or sport-specific coordination training - the equipment is totally varied and can be used flexibly," enthuses the German biathlete Maren Hammerschmidt. Sports physiotherapist Kreitmair uses the entire range of TOGU equipment. Especially the Jumper and the TOGU Challenge Disc are indispensable in her training and therapy sessions.
A cheer for the Jumper
The Jumper, an air-filled trampoline ball, is regularly used in the training of German biathletes - and also by cross-country skier Andreas Katz. Michaela Kreitmair especially appreciates the fact that the Jumper is extremely practical for on the go: "I virtually only need to take one piece of equipment with me and can do an incredible number of exercises with it - whether it's coordination training, dynamic leg axis training or even trunk training." Exercises on the jumper can be done with either the standing surface or the ball facing up. The combination of strengthening, stabilization and coordination - in a standing, supine, prone or forearm support position - makes training with the jumper varied and challenging. In addition to the large muscle groups, the deep-lying muscles are activated and inter- and intramuscular coordination is improved.

Sensory feedback training with the TOGU Challenge Disc
The multi-axis, patented platform allows feedback training for all performance levels and ages. The motion sensor built into the base transmits measurement data via Bluetooth directly to an app (available for Win, Mac, Android and iOS), where the athlete's movements are matched with scientifically based standard values and training programs. Thus, training on the sensory feedback plate is suitable for automating and optimizing certain movement or coordination sequences of the lower extremities as well as the trunk. This kind of feedback enriches the training of health athletes as well as that of top athletes, therapists and trainers. Even more, the TOGU Challenge Disc makes independent training possible and motivates through sensory feedback without the need for controlling instructions from a trainer. "The TOGU Challenge Disc is an excellent tool to practice leg axis training and to get a direct visible feedback for the athlete", Michaela Kreitmair praises the innovative balance board.
