Leg press V4 and combined abduction and adduction machine expand target line plug-in weight series
Peutenhausen, February 13, 2018 | The SCHNELL Training Equipment GmbH is expanding its product range with the new leg press V4 and the combined abduction- and adduction machine. Both machines were developed on the basis of the latest sports science research results and offer the typical quality features of the SCHNELL brand.
In addition to excellent biomechanical properties, a durable and low-maintenance design and a high quality of workmanship, integrated force curve progressions ensure that the training load automatically corresponds to the strength of the trainee over the entire amplitude of movement. The result is highly efficient training combined with optimal training ergonomics and natural, comfortable motion sequences. Joint structures as well as the tendon and ligament apparatus are thus protected.
The new V4 leg press replaces the previous V3 version and features an even more compact design. The barrier-free access facilitates rapid rehabilitation for patients after injuries or operations. The adjustment of the shoulder fixation and the backrest is infinitely variable by means of a gas pressure spring and conveniently from the training position. The step plate, which is equipped with special trapezoidal kinematics, enables a movement sequence similar to a knee bend. The force curve follows the anatomical function of the leg and gluteal muscles, which means that the load is low, especially at the beginning of the movement.
In the abduction and adduction machine, the advantages of the individual machines merge for the first time into a space-saving combination machine. Two specially coordinated force curve profiles guarantee ergonomic movement execution with high training success for both exercises. Thanks to the built-in starting aid device, both the respective exercise and the training position can be adjusted comfortably and continuously while seated.
The new equipment complements the SCHNELL target line series of plug-in weights and can be used in a variety of ways, for example in conventional fitness, performance-oriented athletic training or in medical rehabilitation. As certified medical devices, the training equipment is also suitable for the billable treatment method of physiotherapy on the equipment.
Like all products of the Bavarian quality manufacturer of training equipment, the leg press V4 and the abduction and adduction machine are manufactured exclusively at the company headquarters in Peutenhausen. Thanks to in-house production, individual wishes in terms of equipment and design can be taken into account.
