Austrian multi-entrepreneur Christian Jäger bought the milongroup on June 27 and took over the fitness brands milon and five with his Jäger Group of Companies (UGJ). The self-made millionaire did not want to comment on further plans for the time being. Details about the purchase price were also not disclosed.

According to its own information, the Jäger Group of Companies (UGJ), based in Seefeld in Tyrol, unites a conglomerate of around 20 companies under one roof. The enterprise portfolio covers accordingly companies from many industries with different services, products and locations.

Beside the enterprise seat in Seefeld the entrepreneurial group hunter has further locations in Hamburg, Vienna, Munich, Leipzig and Stockelsdorf with Luebeck.

The long-standing shareholder of milongroup, Hubert Haupt, now wants to concentrate on his core business after many successful years.

New owner already has experience in the fitness market

The new owner of milongroup, Christian Jäger, is also the majority shareholder of EasyMotionSkin Tec AG and, according to his own statements, wants to be "not a world champion of announcements, but a world champion of deeds," according to a statement.

Although nothing has been made known about concrete future plans with the milongroup, it is considered certain that Christian Jäger's goal after the purchase is to strengthen the two established fitness brands milon and five, especially in the area of IT. This is to be accomplished by own IT companies.
