Under the motto "Neurotraining - The Game Changer for Performance in Everyday Life, the Office and Sports", the Neuro Innovation Day on September 18 will focus for the first time on the many possible uses of neuro-centered applications. For this purpose, the Artzt Institute, in cooperation with the German Academy for Neuro-Performance, has brought renowned experts to its side. Invited are actors from movement professions such as trainers, physiotherapists, exercise instructors or sports physicians.

Neuro-centered training is a form of therapy that addresses the neuronal functions of the brain. As the control center, it controls all movement, but also our perception of pain. To do this, the brain needs sensory information, for example from the eyes or the organ of equilibrium, interprets it and gives appropriate instructions for action. The better the information processing, the better the performance. By targeting the nervous system, for example with balance, visual or breathing exercises, the communication between brain and body can be optimized and deficits corrected.

The neuro-based training concept has become known in this country primarily through its use in competitive sports. Under the term neuroathletic training , it is used to improve strength, endurance and mobility. The first Neuro Innovation Day 2022 aims to shed light on the potential it offers for everyday ailments beyond sports. The congress, in cooperation with the Artzt Institute and the German Academy for Neuro-Performance, is aimed at players in movement professions and will take place on September 18 at the premises of the State Sports Federation of Hesse in Frankfurt am Main.

"Neurotraining opens up opportunities for everyone - from toddlers to seniors, from the supposedly healthy to the chronically ill. We have put together a program that reflects the wide range of the brain-based training approach in a well-founded and at the same time practice-oriented way," says Astrid Buscher, head of training at the Artzt Institute, explaining the concept of the event. In 16 lectures and workshops, neuro-specialists will spend a day providing information on the diverse fields of application of neuro-centered exercises, including in the areas of fall prevention, migraine, cancer, post covid sequelae, traumatic brain injury, sports injuries or learning and coordination disorders in children.
