The FIBO is becoming even more international: On November 7 and 8, the world's largest trade show for fitness, wellness and health will be visiting the African continent for the first time. The 1st FIBO FITNESS BUSINESS SUMMIT SOUTH AFRICA will provide an exclusive insight into the latest innovations in the industry. "With this, we are not only consistently continuing the internationalization of FIBO," says FIBO CEO Silke Frank. "We are also expanding our offer to the industry to bring suppliers and users in exciting markets directly into conversation with each other."
Focus on fitness and health
The two-day trade conference in Cape Town is aimed specifically at club managers, trainers, instructors, physiotherapists and health center operators. In addition to an overview of innovative training concepts and equipment, they can gain business knowledge tailored specifically to their home market. Topics include successful strategies for customer retention, current market figures for the African and global fitness and health markets, and the opportunities and risks of digital technology.
FIBO and EuropeActive are organizers
The 1st FIBO FITNESS BUSINESS SUMMIT SOUTH AFRICA will be jointly organized by FIBO organizer Reed Exhibitions Germany, South African partner Reed Exhibitions South Africa and the European industry association EuropeActive. The new format complements the internationalization successes of the FIBO INNOVATION TOUR, which will tour Europe for the fifth time in early 2018 with innovative fitness and health know-how. This time, Lyon (January 18), Rome (January 23), Birmingham (January 25), Madrid (February 1) and Malmö (February 6) are on the itinerary.
