Unterschleissheim. Life Fitness, the world's leading manufacturer of premium fitness equipment, anticipates continued positive business development and is aligning its production structures accordingly. At the end of September, the company began expanding its main plant in Ramsey, Minnesota, USA. Production there has almost doubled over the past six years. By March 2016, the site is to be expanded by around 4650 square meters and will then cover a total area of almost 30,700 square meters.
More than 140 models of strength training equipment from the Life Fitness and Hammer Strength brands are manufactured in Ramsey. In addition, individual parts for the manufacture of Life Fitness cardio equipment are also produced there. In addition to Ramsey, Life Fitness has five other production sites in the USA and one in Kiskoros, Hungary.
