ADVANCED TARGET TRAINING TOUCHSCREEN

The biggest advantage of the CXP is its large capacitive touchscreen, specifically designed for goal-oriented indoor cycling training.

The display allows users to monitor:

- WATTS – current and average power

- RPM – pedal revolutions per minute 

- HEART RATE – heart rate

- SPEED – speed

- DISTANCE – distance

- CALORIES – calories burned

- PACE – pace

- TIME – workout time

- LEVEL – resistance level

All training data is clearly displayed on the screen, and users can easily switch between different views by swiping across the touchscreen.

TARGET TRAINING – TRAINING WITH A PERSONAL GOAL

The CXP allows users to set a specific training target – such as WATTS, RPM, heart rate, calories or distance.

A special feature is the LED indicator surrounding the display, which uses different colors to show how close the user is to the selected training target:

BLUE – below the target value

GREEN – within the target zone

RED – above the target value

This allows users to quickly see whether they are training within the desired intensity zone, even during a high-intensity workout, without constantly checking the numerical values.

TESTING AND PERSONALIZED TRAINING TARGETS

The CXP also offers an FTP test and a submaximal heart rate test, allowing users to determine their individual training zones and targets.

This makes it possible to tailor the workout to the user's actual fitness and performance level – from beginners to highly trained cyclists.

The CXP measures power directly via a torque sensor, enabling highly accurate monitoring of power output. Matrix specifies watt measurement accuracy of approximately ±2% for this specification.
