The Physiotherapy Forum is organized by the professional associations VDB, VPT, IFK and ZVK and is aimed primarily at physiotherapists, physiotherapists, medical bath attendants, masseurs, orthopedists and sports physicians.
With over 500 exhibitors, the growing physiotherapy and orthopedic technology sector is one of the largest areas at Medica. Here, concepts, equipment and products for medical fitness training that customers have to pay for themselves are particularly in vogue. These are used in addition to the physiotherapeutic treatment paid for by the health insurance to further increase vitality as a form of prevention under expert guidance.
A well-known supplier of physiotherapy and rehabilitation products and exhibitor at Medica is ERGO-FIT, which has been at Medica for over 20 years. The company sees the advantage of medical fitness equipment for physiotherapists primarily in the intensification of contact with patients and the increased independence from health insurance benefits due to the expanded range on a self-pay basis.
