EASYFITNESS aims to be the number 1 fitness center chain in 5 years

4 Ratings

In the study "The German Fitness Market 2023" published by Deloitte, EASYFITNESS ranks 4th in Germany in terms of membership numbers and 3rd in terms of facility numbers. The study also highlights the recovery of the fitness industry and the role of EASYFITNESS as a key player in the fitness market.

Deloitte's study "The German Fitness Market 2023" shows an impressive recovery of the fitness market despite the pandemic. Sales and membership numbers are approaching pre-crisis levels, with fitness studio chains like EASYFITNESS in particular expanding.

The EASYFITNESS franchise system has strengthened its market position through a dual strategy: on the one hand, by consolidating and expanding its own locations and, on the other, by expanding existing franchise partnerships through multi-unit franchising and diversification in its brand portfolio.

"Our four subsidiary brands expand the business portfolio of our franchise partners and open up new niches in the industry [...]. Our multi-brand concept [...] is testimony to our flexibility as well as adaptability. Our vision is clear: In five years, EASYFITNESS will stand for fitness like Tempo stands for handkerchief!"

Jens Tappe, Managing Director of EASYFTNESS Franchise GmbH

In addition, the great interest in new franchise memberships is particularly pleasing: at the end of 2022 and beginning of 2023, numerous applications for a franchise membership with EASYFITNESS have been received.

Ambitious expansion targets

With the ambitious expansion target of 200 fitness studios by 2023 and 500 fitness studios and 1.2 million members within the next five years, EASYFITNESS is aiming for first or second place in the German fitness market in the long term.

The strategy in the coming years will also be to expand multi-unit franchising. For the conquest of the European market, the company sees an opportunity in master and cluster franchising.
