The quietest of the drop plates - Nautilus SVA platform

nautilus sva plattformIf you have ever seen pictures of training areas of American universities or sports teams, you will surely notice the large number of half racks of Half Racks. Why are many Half Racks used there: These athletes train mostly basic exercises - squats, deadlifts, pushes, presses - for their sports. The Half Rack is an ALLROUNDER, at which Chest-, Back-, Shoulder- and a variety of leg exercises can be performed.

Almost all of these half racks are equipped with drop plates for deadlift variations or functional "off the floor overhead" movements: a drop plate has a shock-absorbing effect in the outer area; in the center of the platform, the exerciser stands on a solid wooden floor so that power can be optimally transferred to the standing surface during exercises involving the lower extremities.
Standing on cushioning floors, such as those often found in free weight areas the trainee's power is also reduced during leg exercises with free weights.

Those who frequently train in free weight areas know that weights falling to the ground produce noise. Fall protection mats and standard drop plates can only dampen a few of the noises. They serve more to protect the equipment and the floor.
This noise annoys exercisers and neighbors alike. Since busy clubs are more likely to "drop the dumbbells" at peak times, this can become a problem for club operators. Example: In a facility in Cologne that is open around the clock, the free weight area may not be used from 24:00-06:00. This was enforced by local residents.

THE SOLUTION: the new Nautilus SVA drop plate. The name SVA stands for "Sound and Vibration Absorbing". "And as they hear, you hear nothing".
The Nautilus SVA platform is thicker than standard drop plates. It is made of a specially developed material mix of multiple layers of shock-absorbing rubber and noise-dampening foam. Laboratory tests show approximately 50% reduction in sound intensity and 50% reduction in vibration. This also reduces the risk to exercisers if the barbell hits the platform in an uncontrolled manner.

Let's briefly summarize:

- The Half Rack and SVA platform can be used as an all-rounder
- Protects the nerves of your members and neighbors
- Reduces the risk of injury from bouncing barbells

Another benefit: Club operators can use their training areas, free weight areas, functional zones or HIIT areas more optimally, resulting in greater customer satisfaction.
It's a scenario everyone is familiar with: On which equipment can you train relaxed on Mondays? Any equipment that doesn't have chest or biceps is concerned. Because Mondays are international chest and biceps day and these training areas are extremely busy at the beginning of the week. If I use multifunctional equipment as a club owner, a half rack can be used for different muscle groups on Mondays through Sundays.
