Founders Dariusz Salamonowicz and his business partner Piotr Malecki presented an innovative climbing wall in the last edition of the popular Vox format "Die Höhle der Löwen" (The Lion's Den), with which they want to make climbing accessible to everyone. The principle of the space-saving climbing wall is based on sensor-controlled, vertical treadmills to which the climbing holds are attached; while climbing, these tapes rotate, creating ever new, completely different grip variations. The Everest Climbing climbing wall is available in four variants for different purposes, so that everyone from children up to 3 years old to fitness professionals can really enjoy working out with the endless wall. The concept is convincing: The friendly developers will cooperate with lion Dr. Georg Kofler in the future.

Everest Climbing - How it works

Basically, Everest Climbing is a combination of vertical, rotating treadmills on which climbing holds are mounted. The rotation is intended to give the exerciser the feeling of climbing an infinite distance. Everest Climbing is available in four variations: Everest Climbing "Kids" is designed for children 3 - 10 years old and has only 3 rotating bands so as not to confuse children, the grip spacing is adjusted to children's size. Everest Climbing "Event", on the other hand, is a variant that is particularly quick to set up, making it the highlight of all kinds of events. The Everest Climbing "Fitness" model has the full functionality of 5 rotating bands and is permanently mounted on a wall - a space-saving alternative for gyms with limited space. The flagship model, Everest Climbing "Pro" is a free-standing version, the wall can be tilted up to 45° - this increases the difficulty level and makes the workout interesting even for experienced climbers. The treadmills rotate at different speeds, creating new combinations of climbing holds throughout. No matter how many times you train with Everest Climbing - nothing is repeated. Different training programs can be selected by means of a touch screen.

While some passionate climbers may be frustrated by the rotating system, it greatly increases the safety factor. It is in the nature of the system that the climber hardly moves from the spot and does not reach a great height - so you can not fall from a great height, which is why Everest Climber can be used without additional safety systems. If you do fall, you will land softly on a mat. The sophisticated internal safety system uses sensors to ensure that the speed of the treadmills is automatically adjusted to the climber - this prevents the rotation from building up pressure and tempting you to grab the next handle too quickly.

Which muscles are trained when exercising with Everest Climbing?

With the climbing treadmill, the superficial muscles and the deep-lying support and postural muscles are trained at the same time. When starting the workout, the most important thing is to keep your balance - this activates the deep muscles and stabilizes the body. During the climbing movements during the training, the superficial muscles are challenged. In addition, the interaction between the deep muscles and the superficial, voluntary muscles is trained, as well as muscle timing.

Climbing with Everest Climbing activates the entire back musculature thanks to the complex movements combined with the constant balance training, due among other things to the frequent shift of the body's center of gravity, the muscles have to work dynamically thanks to the unpredictable movements.

Thanks to the frequent torsion movements during training with Everest Climbing and the necessary leg work, the abdominal muscles are also efficiently addressed, while thanks to the arm movements and the push-off and pull-on movements necessary in climbing, the deep and superficial chest muscles are also trained.

Buttock, thigh and calf muscles must work particularly well together when climbing, and a positive side effect of the training is the strengthening of tendons and joints. In addition to the muscles of the entire arm, including the shoulder and neck, climbing also trains grip strength.

Everest Climbing thus offers a wonderful full-body workout - Lion Kofler attests in the broadcast: "Super! This is something for people who enjoy exercise. You feel good, it's a great workout."

Conclusion

Everest Climbing provides a dynamic full-body workout with a great fun factor. The innovative climbing treadmill is available in four variants for different purposes, the cost of purchase ranges from 7500 to 14500 euros depending on the model, for individual events Everest Climbing can also simply be rented.
