In 2018, RATIONAL had the goal of introducing a sports program for its employees. This program should ensure that the workforce can become healthier, fitter and more motivated in the long term. Likewise, RATIONAL wanted to increase its attractiveness as an employer in the region.
When selecting a service provider for corporate sports, the company was particularly interested in a comprehensive network, especially in rural areas. There were many different interests among the workforce, such as swimming, climbing, yoga or fitness, which had to be covered.
A flexible and monthly cancellable billing model also played a key role in the decision-making process. EGYM Wellpass (then still qualitrain) was able to meet these requirements. Therefore, RATIONAL decided in favor of EGYM Wellpass in December 2018 and has since successfully offered the extensive partner network. Within a year, 348 people out of 1,000 employees at the Landsberg site were already making extensive use of the Wellpass partner network.
