Many athletes aim for improving their flexibility, coordination and balance to increase their performance in other sports or strength training. But also hobby sportsmen want to change their fitness in general or body feeling to the better by doing flexibility exercises, balance training or stretching exercises. A high level of flexibility or coordination as well as balance is a big advantage in many sports: a soccer player shouldn’t only be quick, but also have coordination playing the ball. In the same way, a good balance and flexibility is fundamental for sports like ice skating or inline hockey. But even everyday life is affected positively by trained fascia and continuous stretching: regular stretching exercises increase the flexibility of the complete body and supports many movements. Coordination and balance help to avoid injuries as well as trained fascias can prevent or improve joint and back pain.

For flexibility, coordination, balance, stretching and fascia training there are many new and used training equipment on fitnessmarkt.com.  You have many possibilities to do workout for these single abilities with or without training equipment:

Flexibility exercises:

To train the flexibility should be part of everyone’s life, especially in our modern society that brings less movement and more strains caused by working in a seated position. You can increase the flexibility of the complete body by doing flexibility exercises with new or used flexibility equipment. Especially suitable are the so called flexibility circuits which include machines for all parts of the body. By doing stretching exercises on these machines, the muscles of the complete body are being stretched and prolonged. Persons who do workout like this regularly will soon feel an improvement for back problems and movability of their body. You can do many exercises with or without stretching or flexibility equipment.

Coordination exercises:

A better coordination doesn’t only affect the body, but also stimulates the mind. There are many small training devices that don’t only affect the acting parts of the body like hands or feet, but consciously increase motoric abilities like coordination. Coordination training can be done in a seated, recumbent or standing position. The workout can be supported by new or used training equipment: balance boards, ballkissen or coordination seesaws are only some examples for coordination training equipment. Of course you can also have positive results when doing coordination training without equipment, here are special exercises possible.

Balance exercises and balance training:

Balance is another ability which is often neglected in the modern time. Because people nearly never walk barefoot or balance, they often have a bad-trained balance feeling and coordination. As this ability normally is not used, it often becomes stunted. Even athletes have such deficits and have to increase their balance.

The balance can be trained with aimed balance exercises with or without equipment. New and used balance training equipment is for example balance catwalks, balance pads or slack spots which are the latest trend. You can also do balance training without equipment. Just walk barefoot more often or try to balance over a narrow beam. You will notice that after the balance training your complete body will be in balance again!

Stretching:

Stretching is an essential part of every regeneration program after a workout. Stretching exercises can be easily performed without equipment or with new or used stretching equipment and are useful to increase the movability of the muscles. Especially popular are sling trainers, but also other stretching equipment is available. Although stretching exercises are often performed before the training starts, it is more recommended to use stretching for starting the regeneration phase after the workout. It is important to care for a correct execution of the stretching exercises and the right body posture.

Fascia fitness:

Only recently the important value of fascias for training and fitness has been recognized. Fascial stretching or fascial stretch therapy is a workout that strains especially the fascias that are situated between the bones and muscle fibers. This connective tissue is strong and elastic at the same time and enables to strain cords and ligaments trouble-free as well as move joints painlessly. The fascias are an important part of the body and support movability, flexibility and stretching abilities.

By using several new or used fascial training equipment, many effective exercises can be done. Especially the so called “blackroll” is a popular but also dreaded fascial equipment. It can be used easily and for many parts of the body, but the training can be very painful if the fascias are clotted due to sitting often. In this case there is also the possibility of fascial muscle soreness.
