all inclusive Fitness is continuing to expand its functional training offerings and is stepping up its collaboration with HYROX to achieve this. By 2029, approximately 225 clubs are set to be equipped with the appropriate gear for targeted HYROX preparation. Members at about 80 locations already have access to these training options.
However, the partnership is not limited to equipping the gyms. In the future, all inclusive Fitness members will also receive digital support for their training. Through the company’s own app, they’ll have free access to structured HYROX training plans and workouts.

One of Germany’s Largest HYROX Training Networks
With this planned expansion, all inclusive Fitness aims to make HYROX training accessible at an increasing number of locations across Germany. At least 50 additional clubs are set to be equipped with the necessary training equipment each year. If this pace is maintained, approximately 225 studios could offer the appropriate training conditions by 2029.
This will create a nationwide network that appeals to both experienced HYROX athletes and fitness enthusiasts without specific competitive ambitions. Members can improve their strength, endurance, and resilience without necessarily having to visit a specialized performance center.
The Germany-wide accessibility of the all-inclusive fitness clubs offers an additional advantage: members can generally train at studios outside their home location. This makes it easier for people who travel frequently for work or personal reasons to maintain a consistent competition training regimen.
What makes HYROX training so special?
HYROX combines classic endurance training with functional strength and athletic exercises. In a regular competition, participants complete a total of eight running segments, each one kilometer long. Each run is followed by a functional workout station. This sequence is repeated eight times.
Typical challenges include sled pulling and sled pushing, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmer’s carries, weighted lunges, and wall balls. This doesn’t just target individual muscle groups. Rather, it demands the ability to keep running even under conditions of high physical fatigue and to perform technically demanding movements in a controlled manner.
It is precisely this alternation between running and functional exercises that distinguishes HYROX from a traditional running event or a pure strength competition. Successful training must therefore combine several components: basic endurance, speed endurance, functional strength, movement technique, and the ability to sustain exertion over an extended period.
The format is also appealing to beginners because HYROX offers various competition categories. In addition to individual starts, participants can compete as a two-person team or in a relay, among other options. This makes it an attractive option for people who initially want to gain competition experience alongside training partners.
HYROX Equipment for Realistic Competition Preparation
Preparation that is as specific as possible plays an important role in HYROX. Those who train strength and endurance separately are not automatically optimally prepared for the demands of competition. It is crucial to regularly practice the transition from a functional exercise back to running.
After strenuous sled exercises, lunges, or burpees, the subsequent kilometers of running feel significantly different than when you’re well-rested. That’s why it makes sense to combine multiple forms of movement during training. HYROX itself recommends, among other things, specifically simulating running after strenuous exercises.
With plans to equip additional all-inclusive fitness clubs, members will be able to complete such combined workouts at significantly more locations in the future. Specialized equipment not only improves preparation for a competition. Exercises such as pushing a sled, farmer’s walks, or working with medicine balls can also boost overall performance regardless of whether an event is coming up.
They help build, among other things, leg and core strength, grip strength, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance. Thanks to the high degree of training variety, the concept can also be an interesting alternative for members who find a traditional training plan using machines or free weights too one-sided in the long run.
Training Plans and Workouts Right in the App
A key component of the expanded partnership is the planned digital offering. Members of all inclusive Fitness will soon be able to access HYROX training plans and special workouts in the app for free.
This allows users to structure their training more systematically. Instead of performing individual exercises without an overarching structure, users can align their sessions with a specific plan. This is particularly helpful during competition preparation, as increasing intensity, recovery, and the combination of running and strength training must be carefully coordinated.
At the same time, the digital offering is not exclusively aimed at people who have booked a spot in HYROX. Members who want to improve their overall fitness or introduce new training stimuli can also integrate the workouts into their daily routines.
Stephan Schulan, CEO of all inclusive Fitness, sees the partnership as an important part of the company’s strategic development: “HYROX fits perfectly with our strategy and our commitment to offering our members modern training options and a unique experience. The fact that we are now expanding this partnership and will offer HYROX training throughout Germany demonstrates the great potential of this collaboration.”
Functional Training Meets a Growing Fitness Community
The partnership aligns with all inclusive Fitness’s core positioning. The company has gradually consolidated the BestFit, jumpers fitness, and all inclusive Fitness brands under a single umbrella and is now one of the leading fitness providers.
In addition to traditional strength and cardio areas, many studios feature functional fitness spaces and class offerings. The integration of HYROX expands this concept to include a standardized training and competition format that has built a strong community within the fitness industry.
For all inclusive Fitness, the partnership therefore offers several strategic advantages. The company can place greater emphasis on modern functional training concepts, motivate existing members in the long term through new offerings, and simultaneously appeal to new target groups.
HYROX, in turn, gains additional touchpoints with recreational athletes through the partnership. Many people are first introduced to the competition format at the gym before deciding to participate in an official event.
Jonas Merten, Head of Customer & Growth at HYROX, explains: “Our shared goal is to get even more people excited about HYROX and sports in general. The potential of this partnership lies in jointly developing innovative training and community concepts, continuously advancing our collaboration, and creating sustainable added value for all athletes.”
Title Partnership with HYROX Cologne Extended at FIBO
In addition to expanding the studio program, all inclusive Fitness and HYROX are also continuing their partnership at FIBO. The title partnership for HYROX Cologne has been extended by three years and thus covers the events in 2027, 2028, and 2029.
HYROX Cologne takes place in conjunction with FIBO and combines one of the world’s best-known fitness race formats with one of the most important international trade shows for fitness, wellness, and health. In the official HYROX event calendar, the April 2027 event is already listed under the name “all inclusive Fitness HYROX Cologne.”
According to the partners, their joint presence is set to be further developed in the coming years. In addition to brand visibility, the community experience in particular is expected to play a central role. Training opportunities at the clubs, digital programs, and participation in a major live event will thus become increasingly intertwined.
More Than Just an Equipment Partnership
The expanded partnership between all inclusive Fitness and HYROX demonstrates how strongly the fitness industry is moving toward connected training concepts. Today’s members no longer expect just equipment and training spaces. They seek structured programs, digital guidance, shared experiences, and specific fitness goals.
By expanding to approximately 225 HYROX-enabled locations, all inclusive Fitness is laying the foundation for a nationwide training offering. The complementary app content can help members use the available equipment more effectively and structure their progress over the long term.
For HYROX, the growing network of studios also means a stronger integration into everyday training routines. As a result, the competition format isn’t just visible on the day of the event—it accompanies athletes for weeks or months during their preparation.
The partnership therefore has the potential to go far beyond a traditional collaboration between a fitness chain and an event organizer. It combines in-studio training, digital support, community building, and competitive experiences into a unified concept.
